AI tools arrived before the training to use them. There are millions of people with access to Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot — and no system to work with them sustainably. MOONKEY LAB exists to fill that gap.
Learning by doing
The only training that works is the kind that produces real deliverables. No videos. No multiple-choice tests. Files created, systems that work, documented workflows.
AI as a tool, not as a replacement
Claude Code, prompts and automation are tools of operational freedom. They amplify judgment. They don't replace it. Whoever hands their judgment over to the machine learns nothing.
Documentation as memory
A system without documentation dies with its creator. CLAUDE.md, SOPs, operational READMEs — documentation isn't bureaucracy, it's the difference between a scalable system and one that depends on remembering.
Prompts as interface
Prompts are the interface between the operator and the machine. Knowing how to write them well isn't a trick: it's the working language of the 21st century. Fluency in that language is trained, not improvised.
Automation as leverage
Automating what's repeatable frees up time for what matters. Not every task deserves automation — but a task that does deserve it and isn't automated is stolen time.
Progress measured in deliverables
Progress is measured by what you build, not by what you consume. A repository on GitHub, a configured CLAUDE.md, a documented workflow — those are the real milestones.
MOONKEY LAB doesn't teach AI in the abstract. It teaches you to operate concrete AI systems, with real tools, producing verifiable deliverables.
We're a modular academy under construction, with our own methodology, an active pilot program and ready to grow toward private access. Nothing more, nothing less.

A Monkey is someone who comes into the school intending to build, not to consume.

Each Key is a completed level. There are no shortcuts. There's no jumping from Key 1 to Key 3. The path is the system.
